It is aimed to realize an autonomous (self-determining) carrier vehicle (AGV) to be used in the factories of the future.
The Industry 4.0 revolution has revealed the necessity of developing an AGV that can move within the factory, suitable for the complex and semi-organized environments of the factories, especially when considering the automation requirements of smart factories. Considering the literature, although some technological levels have been passed in autonomous vehicle studies, especially in smart cars, special studies are needed for different application areas such as factories with flexible production. In this project, an autonomous carrier vehicle will be developed for the factories of the future that focus on Industry 4.0, especially flexible production.
